This week has been hard and it’s only Wednesday. In efforts to help alleviate the stress and anxiety, I tweeted asking for links to breathwork, yoga and meditation sessions.
The response was overwhelming and beautiful. The amount of classes and resources provided have already helped people find the safe and healthy outlets they need during this time.

Breathe with James – breathwork on IG live – he spends his time teaching people to harness the power of their breath to alleviate emotional issues, improve their physical health and connect them to a deeper understanding of themselves.

Bhakti Yoga DC is a yoga studio that serves to empower individuals with conscious lifestyle practices that transform mind, body & heart. They’re offering free 20-minute meditation sessions on their IG + FB live Thursday, November 5th at 8 am ET
8. Ethel’s Club
Ethel’s Club is a social & wellness platform designed for people of color to thrive. While the platform is membership based they’re offering community members a Tappin In: EFT and Somatics for Resilience zoom on November 10th.
9. Black Girls Breathing
Black girls breathing – finding calm: sliding scale virtual breathwork series NOVEMBER SESSION: Thursday, November 5th at 7pm EST (7:00pm – 8:30pm EST) The fee slots are no longer available but there are seats for $10, $15, $20 and $25 available.
10. Maintaining Your Peace Self-Care
Dunia Vida – Maintaining Your Peace: Self-Care Group weekly virtual self-care session and check-in, release, practice mindfulness, and have honest conversation about self-care as melanated folx. This is a pay-what-you-can group for all melanated people.
